Agroforestry implementation

Implementation and Production

We are pioneers in large-scale productive agroforests in Amazonas. We work on the transition from degraded areas to biodiverse and economically viable forests.

We combine regenerative agroforestry techniques, intensive organic matter management, and native species forestry to restore soil and generate income from agroforestry products.

  • Customized agroforestry arrangements tailored to each producer
  • Production of fruits, wood, essential oils, and aromas
  • Integration with carbon credit projects
  • Engagement of local labor to strengthen the regional economy

All systems are managed sustainably, with technical support, economic feasibility studies, and commitment to standing forests.

Carbon credits for restoration

Carbon Credits with Technical Rigor and Real Impact

REMATA’s approach for generating emission reductions (carbon credits) is based on restoring biodiverse and productive forests, ensuring integrity, traceability, and lasting social and environmental benefits.

All projects follow robust methodologies, developed by our technical team and validated by strategic partners. We guarantee:

  • Full traceability: from seed to final products and services
  • Carbon models that value native species and ecological diversity
  • Integrated projects with productive agroforests and income generation
  • Direct community engagement in management and monitoring

We invest in local technical training, continuous research, and innovation to ensure real environmental results and lasting social benefits.

REMATA activity map in the Amazon

Territorial development rooted in the forest

Our work begins in the territories and with the people. REMATA works directly with producers and communities to build a regenerative, economically, and socially just restoration model.

Our operations will initially focus in the municipalities of Careiro Castanho, Careiro da Várzea and Autazes (AM), with future expansion to all surrounding areas of the Metropolitan Zone of Manaus, totaling 13 municipalities.

In these regions, in addition to partnerships with owners and producers, we promote:

  • Job and income generation with local labor
  • Formation of community brigades for fire monitoring and prevention
  • Environmental education and citizen science in partnership with schools and universities
Work and Income

We prioritize hiring local services and inputs: seeds, seedlings, nurseries, planting, harvesting, processing, and transportation. Each stage creates opportunities in the territory.

Participatory Monitoring

We involve residents in monitoring and environmental protection brigades, strengthening territorial security and the bond with the restored forest.

Education and Research

We encourage citizen science and promote environmental education with schools, universities, and research partners.
