About Us

REMATA Agroflorestal is an Amazonian startup created to promote the implementation of high-productivity Agroforestry Systems (SAFs) on a large scale and restore (“rematar”) degraded areas in the Amazon.

Our company combines research, development, and innovation with traditional knowledge in agriculture and forestry. Our goal is to become the leading reference center in silviculture and agroforestry production in Amazonas.

We have over 20 years of track record developing and improving innovative techniques for soil regeneration, natural landscape restoration, and forest carbon projects, combining productivity with conservation.

Climate change has challenged conventional agricultural production systems, causing major losses during severe droughts and heavy rains. REMATA’s agroforestry production systems are already an adaptation to climate change.

We aim to lead a new revolution in agriculture and forest restoration, uniting high productivity, resilience, and restoration of degraded areas, as well as carbon sequestration, driving the development of the Amazon bioeconomy.
